Locating Software for Review Purposes
Educational software is being developed constantly, and
the list of titles currently available grows daily. An educator needs
to know how to effectively integrate software into a comprehensive education
plan so that students will get the most benefit out of a learning experience.
Rarely is a software program appropriately used as a stand-alone educational
experience, but rather needs to fit in with the curriculum sequence in
a particular class. As teachers receive or purchase software, they
need to have goals in mind and have strategies in place for deciding if
the software will help accomplish those goals. The first step to
developing these strategies is being aware of what software is currently
available on the market.
