Just because a language school is not listed here does not mean it should not be. Korea is a tough place to live, for both Koreans and foreigners alike.
I would advise if you are interested in working in Korea to call the school and speak to a foreigner who is currently working there. Tell him or her that you have heard of people who have had bad experiences in Korea and you want to know the "inside" story about what is happening at your institute. I would make this call whether you are considering working for a language school (hokwon), business, or university.
I would be extremely cautious of recruiters, especially ones who do not allow you to contact the school in advance. Many recruiters have a reputation of making promises they can't or won't keep. Living in Korea could be the best time of your life, or it could be the worst.
If you are now in Korea and know of a school that should be black listed please contact me! If you have time and you are now in Korea, I recommend you visit the Consulate or Embassy and get their blacklist and E-mail or S-mail it to me--so we can post it.
